  I'm sure it does but all hair tints fade in my experience, especially if you have light hair. My own hair is very nearly black and I only use semi permanent hair color and I STILL only have to ever redo my roots. So the "permanence" of a hair color has a lot to do, I think, with the natural color and condition of your hair. That probably wasn't much help, was it?
