Can someone recommend a good red eyeshadow?
I bought some stuff at Hot Topics, mainly cuz it was cheap and readily available (I have a belly dance performance Friday night and needed something I could play with)... But it's more like a fuschia/Hollywood Cerise type color.
It makes me sad.
And not in an angsty goth way.

Wed, December 12, 2007 - 6:07 PMOkay, so it's more like a Fuchsia color as opposed to a "fuschia" color... Whatever that happens to be.

Wed, December 12, 2007 - 10:16 PMI love MAC's Red pigment (though you might need to go on eBay or a Pro shop to get it) and their Flammable paint. I believe Urban Decay also makes a red. -

Wed, December 12, 2007 - 10:20 PMMAC has a dual color pot with their antiquitease line that has a red eyeshadow in it (along with a fabulous purple). It's limited edition but quite current so you may be able to find it at a local macy's or wherever carries mac. The combination is called "M'lady"
it's delish.

Thu, December 20, 2007 - 7:56 PMI JUST got in a true red eye glitter that's not metallicy, so may work well. www.romdeussen.com, under Glitter Raks, scroll down to see "true red" It's more red than in the photo--think a brighter true brick red. MAC's pigments I like too.

Re: Red-y or not...
Wed, January 23, 2008 - 12:39 AMdrugstore brand blush made for african americans can be used as an inexpensive red eyeshadow. it's not generally rated/tested for use on eyes so i wouldn't wear it every day, but it works great for special occasions.
