As a travelling musician/artist, I've encountered really cool
goth scenes and wonderful people in Boise, Idaho, Austin, Texas
Nashville, Tennessee as well as the really great places to party with
Goth/Industrial Folk in the
Monterey Bay Area of Northern California
(Santa Cruz's the BOX, CLOCKWORK and REVENANT),
the South Bay
(SATORI, APPARITION) and the
San Francisco Bay Area
(DEATHGUILD, HOUSE OF VODOO, BONDAGE A GO GO,
CLOCKWORK. DIE MACHINEN, MEAT, STRANGELOVE, DARK SPARKLE.
I've heard there are cool scenes in Phoenix, of course Los Angelese (DAS BUNKER is famous!)
and I know there must be fabulous scenes elsewhere.
What are they. Let's find but together a little resource for finding cool scenes if
business, pleasure or family takes us to another part of the country , temporarily.

Wed, May 13, 2009 - 3:27 AMI had some friends I had made in the Boise scene and
they told me that the weekly scene had ended there (I was last there at the
Boise Experimental Music Festival two years ago) so
I had Sunday off and didn't even know that there was something going on.
I had a beer with my goth friend on Monday night and he told me that he had just
learned that there was something going on...................DAMN!!!!!!
Oh, well, I won't be asked back to that festival for two years, but I sure dug the people
I met there. It's a beautiful place with a nice vibe...............not at all what I expected from
Idaho. I have to admit.
