Goth For The Uber-Rich

Walking around some of the "upscale" type shops in Las Vegas a couple of days ago, my girlfriend and I came across a little gothic clothing / jewelry store. I was sure I would find something to add to the wardrobe until I picked up a little black hat with some silver crosses embroidered into it and checked out the price. 800 bucks. No, I did not accidentally type an extra zero.

I didn't bother to look at the prices for anything else. If I have a few thousand dollars to spare, I'll get a car, not a new shirt.

On the bright side, the folks who worked there were nice, and pointed me to some alternative hang-outs away from the strip.

Well... I know that I'll never get to be as goth as I would like. Everything that I buy (or make myself) seems to cost a max of $25 unless I save up for a real splurge for some special event like WGT. It's really too bad that by the time I can afford to buy rubber dresses and such, I'll be all wrinkly and probably heavier. On the bright side... the knowledge of this contributes to my depression and gloom : ) Life is way too short!!!! (Any Vampires out there that want to help me with this problem??? I'll be your personal slave for a few hundred years if necessary!)
