I'll admit, I'm totally lazy. I love adding pre-made hair falls when I go out, but on a regular day-to-day, I find myself in need of a new look for my hair.
I think the more blunt cuts look edgy, but my hair is naturally wavy (not really curly, but not straight). It is pretty, but flat ironing my massive head of hair is too much of a pain in the ass for me to do daily.
Right now it is just cut in long layers and dyed reddish brown. I think it makes me look too old? I look like a soccer mom. I'm allowing that right now because I am trying to adopt and need to look "normal". But later, I'm going to want to change that.
Any ideas?

Re: Goth ideas for naturally wavy hair
Tue, November 7, 2006 - 2:19 PMI have naturally curly hair , which I have to wear long. Know what happens when someone with curly hair cuts their hair short......yup bozo the freakn' clown is what happens. So I opt to dye mine, all these real neat mix of colors. At the moment , I have black underneath, with bright red and blonde chunks dyed throughout. It can be done to look really edgey and yet since professinal when need be. Explore some new hair color choices. That maybe what you are looking for.

Re: Goth ideas for naturally wavy hair
Tue, November 7, 2006 - 2:22 PMI have dread extensions sewn in at the back of my head, which can be hidden by my natural hair when I need to look more professional. Most of the time, though, I have them piled on top of my head in an explosion of color.
A friend of mine has hers done in a classic 30's-40's curly bob. very cute

Thu, November 30, 2006 - 4:24 PMI agree with dread extensions and interesting colors (just make sure they match with your complexion). My hair is also wavy and disagreeable. It's also THICK. I've opted to grow it out and learn some fancy up-do techniques. Combined with amazing hair jewelry, it's an easy way to go. -

Fri, December 1, 2006 - 6:40 AMI have tons of hair, and it s very silky. That means I have to put a ton of product in it to get it to stay up. I'm not always a big fan of doing that. -
