Sun, February 11, 2007 - 7:28 PMYes, my sweetie and I did it. I came up with the idea and the color scheme, and picked out the hardware. We both painted it together. It took 3 coats of red to cover the original ickiness! We shared crackle duties as it was exacting (couldn't go over an area twice) plus there was so much to do - three dressers and 14 drawers. All told, it took us about 3 moths to do it with long breaks for work and life craziness. It should have taken a week, start to finish.

I just hope that my apartment ends up looking as gorgeous as what I've seen of your place. And I know what you mean. Keeping my place free of my bellydance stuff is so incredibly difficult!
